KFW projects examined

During a meeting between André Mama Fouda and Thomas Wollenzien, the Director of the German NGO on Thursday in Yaoundé, technical details related to KFW projects were discussed.

Thomas Wollenzien had a smiling face at the end of the hearing granted by André Mama Fouda, Minister of health (MOH) last which obviously was an indication that the meeting was successful.

Arriving at the ministry with his collaborators, the Director for Central Africa and West of KFW, the German NGO, Thomas Wollenzien received a warm hospitality from the Minister André Mama Fouda, assisted by Dr. Grâce Alaké and Prof. Arthur Ellis, Director of the immunization branch for family health and Director of the Organization of care and health technology respectively during the occasion.

After the usual greetings, the two entered the heart of the matter.

On the table and up for discussion were health projects by the German NGO underway in Cameroon. Among others, are the construction and redevelopment of hospitals, the strengthening of the technical platforms of some health units across the country, including those in remote areas.

"It was an issue of making an update on the progress of the work and the review of technical issues related to their implementation," said Thomas Wollenzien.

KFW makes a point of honour to the improvement of their support. It is with this effect that it intends to provide equipment to hospitals for better tracking.
