Organized by the Africa Institute RSE, KILIMANJARO, network of actors of RSE and sustainable development in Africa and the École Supérieure des Sciences économiques et Commerciales (ESSEC business school) of the University of Douala, are going to have the third edition of the Kilimanjaro University (KU), training certifying of executives on the social responsibility of enterprises in the African context will take place from 10th to 15th November 2014, on the campus of the University of Douala.
The main innovation of this session is the importance given to the correlation between RSE and financial performance. This is to demonstrate that a responsible company is a profitable business.
This seminar by building the capacity of African executives on CSR will be mainly articulated around three modules:
10th-11th November: Module I, definitions and implementation strategy of the CSR approach with the ISO 26,000 standard having as objective to position the CSR as a tool for performance and competitiveness of the company.
12th and 13th November: Module II, local content, communities and local development with the objective to enhance its regional anchoring for the reduction of risks and the seizure of opportunities.
14th and 15th November: Module III, report and communication on CSR
