Korea-Cameroon: MINREX bids farewell to a friend

The Minister of External Relations, Pierre Moukoko Mbonjo has bid farewell to the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Cameroon, His Excellency Cho June-Hyuck.

During an audience, the Minister of External Relations and Ambassador Cho June-Hyuck saluted the growth of the Cameroon-Korea bilateral relations; relations that further developed during HE Cho June-Hyuck’s three-year diplomatic mission in Cameroon.

This note of satisfaction was re-echoed during a farewell dinner offered by Cameroon’s Head of State over the weekend.

HE Cho June-Hyuck encouraged the Cameroonian youth to engage in vocational training, an initiative the Koreans have been spearheading through the creation of three vocational training centres in Douala, Limbe and Sangmelima.

The seasoned diplomat also praised Cameroonians for their hospitality and implored them to uphold the peace existing in the country.

The outgoing Korean Ambassador to Cameroon, HE Cho June-Hyuck was awarded the symbolic medal and raised to Officer of the Grand National Order of Valour.
