Kumba gets assistant DO’s after seven years

The heavy work load that used to be in the offices of Divisional Officers will now be a thing of the past.

The officers heaved a sigh of relief following the appointments of pioneer Assistant Divisional Officers, ADO, of some administrative units across the country. Kumba was particularly a point of interest because the appointment was coming seven years after the creation of Kumba I, II and III Sub Divisions.

According to Prime Ministerial Decree No O97/PM of 14/10/2014 on the appointment of ADO’s, the ADO for Kumba is Boundje Bantoua Bernard from the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Technological Development. Mekohnzie Kenneth Makoge and Mrs Tchuende Gisele epouse Kamdem all from the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Decentralisation, MINATD are also the pioneer ADO’s for Kumba II and III respectively.

In Limbe I, Mrs Ekpa nee Susana Evenye Njie is the pioneer ADO, while Mrs Oben Charlotte Bate and Ntede Otabela Herve Yannick are the pioneer ADO’s for Limbe II and III.

It should be noted that, this appointment have seen more women appointed with the figures 45 out of the 174 ADO appointed.
