Malboum returns from Ethiopia

Hamad Kalkaba Malboum the re-elected president of the African Athletics Confederation arrived in the country on Sunday. "I am very happy to be back home, he said in his address to the press, March 15, at the Douala International Airport.

Returning from Addis Ababa (Ethiopia), where he was re-elected, on March 3, president of the African athletics Confederation noted, "we must aim to perform because it gives satisfaction to the public who love sport, and the youth as Françoise Mbango among other Cameroonian athletes won medals", he said.

The Confederation shall according to its president, dock with the World calendar of athletics competitions but will also work to limit the exodus of talent to other countries.

In addition, to better prepare for the future, Hamad Kalkaba Malboum plans a better implementation of athletics in schools as early detection of talent is a plus.

About his re-election, Hamad Kalkaba Malboum said, "The most important thing for a man is for his work is be recognized. This recognition, I take not only with humility but also with satisfaction."
