The lifeless body of Jeremiah Sainone Ndjinda was found on January 25, 2016, at around 6 am.

"The sister of the deceased, who resides in Garoua, was immediately informed. She was told her brother's body was found near Lake Tison in Ngaoundere.

The gendarmerie and the local police were alerted. They arrived on the scene straight away," suggested a member of the inconsolable family.

Thus, the body of this young 29-year-old covered with leaves, his left arm chopped off.

"Obviously, they tied him up, slaughtered and cut his left arm. We do not know where they put this arm; they certainly left with it," said a cousin of the deceased who was in shock.

Jeremiah Sainon Ndjinda’s remains were taken initially to the morgue of the Ngaoundere Regional Hospital before it would be transferred tomorrow to Garoua for burial in the family vault.

Indeed, everything began on January 19, 2016, when Mary Ngah, the wife of Jeremiah Sainone Ndjinda, was found dead in their home.

His tormentors raped her, strangled her with a belt before they killed her, according to the doctor. So, some people were quick to think that her husband was among the sponsors of this assassination.
