Minette Likeng calls on custom officers to maintain efforts

The Dg of customs presided over the assessment of performance contracts on Friday in Douala.

Since the implementation of performance contracts by the customs, things have improved according to evaluations. November 2014 January 2015, the amount of payment of fees for goods rose from 17.7% to nearly 40%. 3,983 statements were made by the economic operators under contract. Bad practices have almost disappeared and customs offices conducted quarterly forecasts.

By chairing the 18th quarterly assessment of performance contracts in a Friday ceremony in Douala, Minette Libom Li Likeng, customs Dg, encouraged colleagues to continue their efforts to achieve revenue objectives.

She also awarded distinctions and rewards for economic operators under contract. The inspectors visited department heads, as well as units of customs under contract who made the best performance.

Minette Sankara Li Likeng, encouraged those in the chain of clearance, doing PSD. In 2014, the objectives had been overwhelmed with 700.8 billion revenue F.

The Friday session was the first evaluation of performance for 2015 contracts. It comes two months after the enactment of the Finance Act and the objectives to be achieved. In addition, it coincides with the implementation of the law on incentives to private investment.
