150 senior staff of the Ministry of Sports and Physical Education have been trained on conception and monitoring of projects.
According to the Secretary General of the ministry, Samuel Wonyu, said the training falls within the framework of a series of targeted trainings geared at equipping staff with the latest administrative procedures, accelerate the process of treating documents as well as render the administration more efficient. He advised staff to refrain from hypocrisy and learn to work under pressure.
He urged his collaborators to consider the certificates offered them at the end of the course as a call to service and work to serve the State and not their private interest. Reports he said should be submitted in time, preferably, within 24 hours.
It is worthy to note that the seminar comes on the heels of a similar one organized for newly recruited senior staff of the ministry to acquaint them on the latest administrative ethics.
The seminar was to inculcate in staff, new concepts and acquaint them especially newly recruited senior staff on the latest administrative procedures and practices.
He urged the staff to put the knowledge gathered to use so as to assist President Paul Biya attain the noble goal of an emerging Cameroon by 2035.
