After searching for a day, it is with relief that the relatives of a missing child on November 02, 2014 at Biyem-Assi Montée maison blanche found him on Thursday 06 with a Muslim family who live in the slums of the district of Biyem-Assi.
The 7 year-old child, Dele Guetsa Ange Miguel lived with his maternal aunt at Biyem-Assi. He left home on November 02, 2014, at 8 p.m, while his aunt had gone shopping in the vicinity.
His aunt who had kept him in close doors before stepping out, returned an hour later, and discovered with dismay that the front door of her house was open and her nephew was missing.
The ill-fated who requested anonymity, narrated: "I was out for shopping. At the time I left, I took the care to lock up Miguel in the House. When I came back, he was not there. Since then, I've searched everywhere. I even sent search notice to CRTV Radio national station, and even a private channel. I do not want to go further, but the family was mobilized and we put an effort to ensure that our child was not lost. Two traditional practitioners as well as a priest worked day and night” and the playful aunt concluded: "Finally, Ange was found with a Muslim family who live in supérette, not far from a river. When he was found, members of this family confessed to us that they had seen him strolling on the banks of the River, while it was past 10pm. Oddly enough, the next day the child lost his speech. He even couldn't give his name, let alone that of his parents".
Unable to get the other version of facts from the family concerned because of the refusal of the biological mother of Miguel to speak, rumours noted that the disappearance of Miguel corresponds to one of the typical patterns of disappearances of children.
