National Youth Council gets new headquarters

The new National Youth Council headquarters was inaugurated on Monday by the Minister of Youth and Civic Education Bidoung Mkpatt, who presented computers and printers to 10 regional offices and 58 departmental offices of the CNJC.

The building with offices, conference rooms, studies, training and a multimedia center, physical and digital library compartments is sited at Yaounde, precisely on Foe "Street. The National Youth Council of Cameroon (CNJC) thus can now boast of its own headquarters.

On the occasion, Bidoung Mkpatt said to Jean Marc Afessi Mbafor, president of the CNJC and other members present that the State nurtures hopes and the actual expectations of his youth. That is why, despite the cyclical vagaries, it spares no effort to provide means necessary for the implementation of its activities.

After congratulating the executive bureau elected on 19th December, 2013 for results on the ground, he also called him to do better. For this, the president of the CNJC was invited to persevere in the efforts of confidence building and gathering of young people, without distinction of origin or sensitivity.

He also urged them to intensify efforts to encourage youth to avoid discouragement, ease, defeatism. "You need to inculcate in young people, the spirit of conquest, builder, the "Fighting spirit", with the Ministry for their involvement in the development of our country", he concluded.
