These figures were given yesterday during the day of the Centre of formalities of enterprises in Yaoundé.
With that of Douala and other areas of the country, the Cameroon CFCE total near 33,000 SMEs created since 2010, year of their launch.
To make it better known to the general public, Minpmeesa, Laurent Serge Etoundi Ngoa, proceeded yesterday to launch the day of information at the CFCE in the presence of several members of the Government.
He however affirmed that: "the CFCE contributed to the improvement of the business climate in Cameroon from 2010 to 2014. He made them understand that the day of information aims to sensitize government partners for more synergy in the establishment of companies, to inquire about facilitation implemented by the Government, measures to educate potential investors.
Among these facilitation measures: reducing the time of creating a business. It is now possible to create a business in 72 hours in Cameroon.
Also, the creation costs has reduced. They have gone from an average of 250,000 F to near 50,000F. Laurent Serge Etoundi Ngoa recalled: "the CFCE aim at facilitating the administrative procedures of entrepreneurship in Cameroon by the performance in a single geographic location and the simplification of the formalities relating to the creation of companies.
The cost and time of business creation are reduced. In total, eight CFCE are operational throughout the national territory, Bafoussam, Bamenda, Garoua, Maroua, Limbe, Ebolowa, Yaoundé and Douala.
