Nescas mourns student victims of Biyem-Assi accident

Struck by the death of three of its students, the institution closed its doors last Friday, following the accident that caused six deaths.

The press release written in English, is still displayed on the board at the entrance of Nescas, located in montée des soeurs, Biyem-Assi district.

The statement signed by the Director of the school, informs all parents and students that classes had been suspended effective from October 17, 2014, to pay tribute to the three students who died during the accident at Biyem-assi.

Photos of the student victims were posted at the entrance to the establishment. The school has also recorded six of its students with serious injuries among which two are still in a coma at Yaoundé main hospital.

According to information gathered at the police station of the 9th arrondissement, le collège Fleming located at Biyem - Assi also recorded one death. The owner of the shop, a Malian national, also died on the spot.
