Malegho Joseph Aseh was installed on July 22, 2016, to fill a position left vacant since the demise of his predecessor in November 2013.

The Minister of Public Service and Administrative Reforms, Michel Ange Angouing, has urged the new Board Chair of the National School of Administration and Magistracy (ENAM), Malegho Joseph Aseh, to ensure that the Board of Directors effectively plays its role in controlling the management of the institution instead of acting as a rubber stamp.

While commissioning the new Board Chair in a colourful ceremony that held in ENAM on July 22, 2016, Michel Ange Angouing said the July 11, 2016 appointment by President Paul Biya was one more evidence of his trust in youth, given that 49 year-old Malegho Joseph is one of the two youngest Board Chairs in the country.

“Be a modern Board Chair and ensure clean and transparent management of ENAM’s resources,” Minister Angouing instructed Malegho Joseph after stating the missions of the Board.

Speaking earlier, the Director General of ENAM, Linus Toussaint Mendjana, said Malegho Joseph Aseh’s appointment filled a long vacancy created after the demise of his predecessor, late Abanda Atangana Anicet Ludovic who occupied the function from 2009 until his death in November 2013.

Linus Toussaint Medjana wished for continuity in the smooth collaboration between the Board and Management, expressing hope that the new Board Chair would bring his management style to ignite a new beginning for the institution he graduated from in 1997.

Since 2009, Malegho Joseph Aseh, a Third Grade Magistrate, was already present in the Board of Directors as representative of the Presidency of the Republic where he works as an Attaché in the Secretariat General. Married and a father of four, Malegho Joseph Aseh is the fourth Board Chair in the history of ENAM.

The ceremony was attended by Minister of Finance, Alamine Ousmane Mey, amongst other dignitaries, guests, friends, well-wishers and relatives.
