Preparations for the construction of a new 302 - Military Air Base in Ngaoundere in the Adamawa Region is ongoing.
The Air Force Chief of Staff, Brigadier General Calvin Momha visited the over 150 piece of land demarcated for the military infrastructure to appraise progress on the demarcation exercise.
He also took part in a meeting with administrative and traditional authorities during which he pointed out the importance of the project in Cameroon’s defence outlook.
He indicated that Ngaoundere was chosen to host the project because of its strategic position between the northern and southern parts of the country.
