Newly appointed Mezam SDO commissioned

The inhabitants of Bamenda are welcoming the installation of the new SDO for Mezam, Songa Pierre under the patronage of Governor of the North West Region, Mr. Lele Lafrique Tchoffo Deben Adolphe. The installation is currently ongoing at the Commercial Avenue in Bamenda this Wednesday,April 27, 2016.

The 49 years old and new SDO was appointed on the April 5, 2016 by Presidential Decree. He replaces Mr Nguele Nguele Félix who has been cal led to other duties (Governor of the South Region). Mr Songa Pierre originates from Wouri, in the Littoral Region, born on April 22, 1967 at Edea and is married with two children. He leaves Bamboutos Division (in the West Region) where he was SDO since October 22, 2012.

He has also been SDO of Nyong and Nfomou from June 15, 2010 to October 22,2012.Nonetheless, before arriving there he served as Secretary General of the then East Province from July 2008 - June 2010. It is worth mentioning that he entered the public service on August 5, 1992.

The outgoing SDO Mr Nguele Nguele Félix , former SDO of MEZAM is a Senior Civil Administrat ive Officer, born on June 14, 1962, in Abong-Mbang. A graduate from ENAM cycle “A” , he was previously in turn SDO of the Mbam-et-Inoubou Division (2010-2012), and held several positions of Secretary General of Province 2005 and 2010. Member of the Executive Committee of the FECAFOOT from 2010 to 2013, the husband and father of three children is a Knight in the National Order of Valour.
