Nigerian Minister Briefs PM Yang

The Prime Minister Philemon Yang yesterday, April 10, 2014 granted two separate audiences.

Prime Minister Philemon Yang yesterday, April 10, 2014 discussed with the visiting Nigerian Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Nuruddeen Mohammed who extended the greetings of President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan of Nigeria to the people of Cameroon.

Nuruddeen Mohammed during the audience briefed the Prime Minister on the work of the sixth session of the Cameroon-Nigerian Joint Cooperation Commission that took place in Yaounde, yesterday. He said the commission discussed a wide gamut of areas ranging from education, health, agriculture, culture and telecommunications

Saint Joseph's University

The Prime Minister still yesterday evening had another audience with a delegation from the Saint Joseph's University in Pennsylvania, United States of America. The delegation leader, Dr Stephen Porth who is also the Associate Dean of the University disclosed to reporters that they are forming a partnership with the National School of Administration and Magistracy, ENAM in Cameroon. He said that in July 2014 they will take 25 students from ENAM to the university to study Masters in Business Administration. Stephen Porth said focus will be on healthcare and food agriculture that will enable the students learn good practices which they will apply as future leaders of Cameroon. He said the Prime Minister welcomed the initiative that falls in line with Cameroon's emergence vision.
