Over 7000 files being scrutinized

Members of the Council of National Order are presently meeting in Yaounde to examine files of over 7000 applicants vying for medal awards.

The meeting which began Yesterday 13th April 2016 is presided by the Chairman of the National Oder committee - Senator Peter Mafany.

After a thorough examination, 3350 names from five councils will be sorted for medal awards. The names will be handed to President Paul Biya who is Grand Master of the Council of National Order.

The laureates will then be awarded with medals prior to the celebration of the 44th Celebration of the National Day.

The Chairman of the council Peter Mafanyi Musonge has therefore urged members of the committee to be objective and balance in judgment so that only those deserving the State’s recognition be awarded.
