PM Yang Adds Wings to Santa CPDM Efforts

Mezam South, Santa Special Constituency commits to give victory to CPDM.

North West CPDM campaign team leader, H.E Philemon Yang on September 24 went inspiring efforts by the Mezam South, special constituency to win over the area for the CPDM during the September 30, twin elections.

It was a day for rehearsals or practical towards a good vote for the CPDM party with militants stating preparedness to deliver Santa Sub division to the CPDM in the backdrop of requests that President Paul Biya should lift the area to the status of a full division with sub divisions in Pinyin, Akum Bama etc. It was against this background that the visiting Prime Minister, Head of the CPDM Regional campaign team, H.E Philemon Yang challenged the population to massively standby the majority party on September 30 and develop.

He pledged to carry their request to President Biya and prescribed a code of conduct towards the victory of the CPDM. He appealed for good behaviour, sacrifice, team spirit and intensive door-to-door campaigns. He equally inspired Santa CPDM militants to grab legislative and local power and continue to enjoy the largesse of the government of peace, development and progress.

It was Mezam II CPDM Section President, John B. Ndeh who committed the party to take Santa Sub-division out of darkness while parliamentary aspirant, Shupong Michael and council list leader, Kan Moses Elroy took an oath of performance to move Santa to light by grabbing the council and winning the legislative elections. The CPDM currently has 10 of the 41 councilors of Santa council while the opposition SDF, keeps the parliamentary seat and 31 councilors. Curtains later dropped with H.E Philemon Yang traveling to encourage CPDM militants in Bali and Bafut to vote great for the ruling party.
