The People's Action Party, PAP of Hon. Ayah Paul Abine is on the field mobilizing for the campaigns in the September 30, 2013 legislative and municipal elections that will kick off in the coming towards the end of next week.
Hon. Ayah Paul told Cameroon Tribune on August 29, 2013 that PAP officials were active on the field. He said that while waiting for campaigns to be officially launched, the party has opted for a man-to-man mobilization strategy, explaining their vision to potential voters and preparing them for the polls. The President of the People's Action Party said, officials have been holding meetings to strategise and also identify the party's polling agents and scrutineers. He said party supporters are the grassroots population who are not rich. As such party officials have been passing across to them the message of sacrifices for a better Cameroon that will be ushered in when PAP wins elections. Indeed, Hon. Ayah Paul is heading the party legislative list in the Manyu Constituency in the home Division in the South West Region.
As PAP officials mobilize voters, they also encourage them to withdraw their voter's cards in readiness for the polls. Hon. Ayah Paul Abine regretted that the Commissions in charge of the distribution of the cards as provided by in the Electoral Code have not yet been formally put in place.
