President Biya honours late Daniel Kamgueu

Daniel Kamgueu Former Minister posthumously decorated with the dignity of Grand Officer of the national order of Valour. Minister of labour and social welfare, Daniel Kamgueu, who died December 24, 2014, in Yaoundé after a brief illness was awarded this honour by the head of State.

Paul Biya, indeed, raised Daniel Kamgueu to the dignity of Grand Officer of the national order of Valour posthumously.

The Minister of labour and social security, Gregoire Owona, on behalf of the president of the Republic, decorated the deceased before a large crowd who came to accompany him to his final resting place.

In the condolence message from the head of State read by the prefect of the Highlands, Luc Ndongo, the head of State expressed his sorrow to the bereaved family and acknowledges that Daniel Kamgueu was the collaborator of the Government and the Presidency of the Republic. "He was a high clerk of the State appreciated for his competence and his sense of human relations.

His death is a great loss for the Western region and Cameroon that he served with patriotism. "One of his sons, Yvan, thanked Daniel Kamgueu for the father that he has been and promised that his children will rely on his sacrifices to be good husbands and fathers. After the prayer, Daniel Kamgueu was buried in strict family intimacy.
