Prez Idris Deby's envoy assures Biya of support against Boko Haram

After a video showing Boko Haram militants executing Chadian herdsmen was released recently by the Islamic sect, the Chadian dictator Idris Deby now views those killings as evidence of the feared spillover of the Islamic violence.

The hunter has become the hunted as President Idris Deby dispatches his Minister for Foreign Affairs and African Integration Moussa Faki Mahamat to explain to President Biya his current stance on the Boko Haram insurgence.

Cameroon Concord gathered that the Idris Deby envoy was received by President Biya as a matter of principle as Yaounde has enough intelligence linking the Chadian government to Boko Haram.

The Chadian Minister was quoted as saying in French that "Ce qui touche Le Cameroun touche Le Tchad" an indication that the Republic of Chad is now being threatened by the Boko Haram militants.

This is the second President Idris Deby envoy to Yaounde within a very short period of time. The previous one was the visit by Chadian Minister for Higher Education and Scientific Research Makaye Hassan Taisso.
