'Proximity awareness campaign' against Boko Haram launched

"The questions of peace and security in the country cannot be reduced to a political or a religious obedience training.

Everyone is concerned about what actions to ensure that Cameroon maintains serenity and stability” stated on Tuesday by Mefiro Oumarou, Minister delegate to the Minister of transport, also head of the delegation of the central Committee of the Democratic CPDM in the Noun.

This was during a preparatory meeting for a field trip, to raise awareness in this Department on the Boko Haram phenomenon against which the country is currently at war.

What we must understand by this statement, explained Mefiro Oumarou, is that this is no longer the time to organize meetings for activists and sympathizers of the CPDM only, as far as it is the whole country that is threatened.

"In the central Committee, we will embark on door-to-door without any exceptions, with the slogan to the people of this vast Department, ‘vigilance, full cooperation with the administrative authorities and the military, patriotic burst ", hammered the Minister to the elites who responded to his appeal in Yaoundé.

Mefiro Oumarou said during this preparatory meeting where measures were taken to secure the District of Magba; the border of the Adamawa region could be another door of entry for terrorists into the country.

This proximity awareness campaign which begins as soon as an elite is found in his stronghold, will be also coupled to support for the families of fallen soldiers at the fore fronts.
