Public Service: Newly appointed officials installed

The installation ceremony took place at the National School of Administration and Magistracy on July 19, 2016 in Yaounde.

The auditorium of the Advanced School of Administration and Magistracy (ENAM) was the venue of the ceremony for the commissioning of newly appointed officials of the Ministry of Public Service and Administrative Reforms coupled with the award of labour medals to some officials on Tuesday July 18, 2016 in Yaounde.

Relatives, friends and well wishers thronged the venue with bouquets of flowers and traditional dances to congratulate the new officials. The officials were appointed to diverse grades notably directors, service heads and inspectors.

Speaking at the occasion, the Minister of Public Service and Administrative Reforms, Ange Michel Angounin stressed on the need for quality service to users, professionalism in the handling of complaints, applications for information, among others.

He said users wish to be informed of the decisions of the administration, receive precise answers to their demands and also wish that the public service contributes to the development of Cameroon.

He called on each and every one to cultivate a spirit of collaboration and develop a synergy among the services. He equally called on them to avoid attitudes such as the retention of administrative documents or administrative information, hierarchical insubordination, inertia, corruption and absenteeism, among others in order to meet set objectives.
