Public Authorities met Yaounde since 19 August last in a framework which calls for discussion so as to assess the government.
The third meeting of the governmental action (SAGO) which was opened on August 19 in Yaounde is interested in the challenges of performance to achieve the economic emergence of Cameroon in 2035. The Minister of communications (Mincom), Issa Tchiroma Bakary, open this set of exhibitions, debates and meetings which will close Friday August 22.
In this case, in relation to the theme of the fair, the action of the Government team needs to be better known. "At the benefits of the Government, SAGO allows on the one hand, to inform the public about the conduct of government activity, and secondly, to objectively question the effectiveness of its action, in order to guide it in the direction of the full satisfaction of the needs expressed by users", said Mr. Tchiroma.
In practice, SAGO will include a public exhibition where administrations from all walks of life will present tangible facts from the social and economic progress of Cameroon. Between the booths, lectures will also be held.
They will be interested for example in economic partnership with Europe agreements, as well as the wood processing or the universalization of primary education in Cameroon.
This combination of events to which the visitor accesses without, aims to attract citizens to this space where the Government opens evaluation. SAGO has indeed a collection of suggestions, which will be transmitted to the Government, indicated its Commissioner general Patrice Assiga Eyene.’
