SDF discuss Boko Haram in Bamenda

Members of the NEC believe that communication and the objective of the fight against the sect are biased.

The Social Democratic Front has resumed its old habits again by applying article 8.2. The president of the SDF in the Mentchum constituency is accused of beating the Member of Parliament for his constituency.

The head of this electoral district elected Ngong Larry Hills wants to uncover the blur in the use of money from micro-projects, to the point of creating a lack of understanding within the electorate.

For Wanki, one of the Secretaries of the SDF, this is a deviation of conduct that the party cannot tolerate. This was what occurred in meeting of NEC, which took place from Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 August 2014 in Ntarikon Bamenda, excluding this framework.

The other long debated topic related to Boko Haram. The opinion of the members of the NEC went in all directions.

Is this a history of banditry? Is this a company planned to destabilize the Cameroon? Is it an internal conflict within the CPDM or a State conflict between Cameroon and Nigeria?

Clebert Hotou, the Secretary-General of the SDF, recalled that in Nigeria where this term started before entering the Cameroonian territory, "they had specific claims. Nothing is clear here, at the bottom of this fight. But we cannot accept that the blood of Cameroonian be spilt, after having consented to many sacrifices and the nationalist spirit, we will continue to engage in this battle to defend our homeland."

All members agreed on a fact, stated by Jean Tsoumelou, Chairman of the Group of the SDF in the Senate: "those in power know what is happening and maintains the blur. "It takes good governance on the part of youth employment to avoid the fact that they are still exposed to this movement.

To expand, Boko Haram draws in with misery, the young people of our country. It should also be noted that peaceful alternation is a safety valve as frustrations grow since they are the same practices and same recriminations", revealed Clebert Hotou.

A commission set up and headed by Vice President Joshua Osih must decide and take the official position of the SDF on the subject, beside their civic engagement.
