Schools prepare for ‘Rentrée scolaires’ 2014

Various establishments have started preparing for reopening of schools, barely few weeks to the beginning of the 2014/2015 academic year. Registration process has already begun in private schools, while in secondary schools started on August 25.

At the Lycée of Ekounou, some parents queued in front of the Bulletin Board to consult the lists of admitted students. While others were there to find out information on the terms of admission, others on the date of registration.

Those, whose children were dismissed during the 2013-2014school year, are also there to search for a means of negotiation. At the Secretariat's office, the Secretary revealed that each day they receive parents and students who come to have the book list, file their registration records, or to inquire about the registration date.

All of these files are of those students and contractors who will be subject to the recruitment commission as early as next Friday, because according to the Decree of the Minister of secondary, Louis Bapes Bapes, registration was to begin August 25, 2014 in all high schools, since he had to wait for appointments of Heads of institutions.

In addition, buildings are to be re-developed; tables and benches are installed gradually. According to M. Bogne, everything is to be put in place to ensure the success of our students.
