Security forces arrest wanted arms dealer

An alleged trafficker of weapons of Cameroonian nationality, suspected of having links with the Islamist sect Boko Haram whose attacks create insecurity in the North of Cameroon, was arrested Monday at Blangoua, near the border with Chad.

The famous brigand, whose name was gotten as Abana, in the sight of the forces, Cameroonian security and defence is presented as a key player in the trafficking in Goulfey, a district of the region of the far North, weapons from Libya or acquired on the Chadian illicit market, according sources.

Also specialized in the trafficking of cannabis, this outlaw had managed to escape from an operation by the Cameroonian gendarmerie conducted in August at Goulfey and fled to Chad.

Blangoua, where Nguyen was arrested Monday, a large stock of weapons had been discovered in April
