Personnel of the Central and Devolved Services of the Ministry of Social Affairs are taking part in their annual conference in Yaounde with a focus on social entrepreneurship.
The Minister of Social Affairs, Pauline Irene Nguene opened the three-day meeting this 27th January 2016.
While chairing the session, Minister Pauline Irene Nguene emphasized that fairness and social cohesion are effective mechanisms to empower vulnerable people and so announced plans to create specific social centres in each region of the country this 2016.
Officials of the Ministry added that they will improve social initiatives with partners so as to better serve vulnerable people towards positive changes in society.
The Ministry hopes to encourage and increase partnerships with Non-Governmental Organisations and the private sector and also organise the national solidarity policy.
