South West CPDM to Consolidate Victory

The turnout was massive, Monday 16 September at the esplanade of the Buea Youth Multi-purpose Centre where militants and sympathizers of the ruling CPDM party from all the six divisions of the South West region converged to partake in the official launching of the party's campaign ahead of the 30 September Legislative and Municipal elections.

The Regional Campaign President, Senator Peter Mafany Musonge spared no opportunity to convince his cronies to continuously demonstrate their loyalty to the President of the Republic for he needs a comfortable majority in the National Assembly and the Councils for him to effectively exercise his executive power and accomplish his greater achievement program.

Legislative and Municipal elections, he said, constitute an opportunity to consolidate the victory achieved in the last Presidential election. He however acknowledged the challenge that lies ahead reason why he called for hard work and team spirit for victory.

Above all, the Regional Campaign President made a clarion call to the militants to withdraw their voter's cards from local ELECAM branches and vote rightly by casting their votes for the CPDM party on polling day. "Make sure that by voting right, by voting for the CPDM lists, our Councils, our Parliamentary seats do not fall into wrong hands", he warned.

Wrong hands, he went on, can wreck the peace, destabilize the country and scare away investors. Earlier, the Fako III Section President, Senator Charles Mbella Moki also enjoined party supporters to stay on the cause of a party that has continued to provide the socio-economic and other facilities to its people by voting for CPDM lists.
