An outburst of joy led Kumba party supporters to a spontaneous rally in Njuki on May 14, 2013.
As the pioneer Senators of Cameroon were poised to take their honorable sashes last week in the Nation's capital, Yaounde, supporters and sympathizers of the Kumba I (A) Section of the Cameroon People's Democratic Movement (CPDM) took to the Njuki Party House chanting glorious praises for President Paul Biya for appointing their paramount ruler to the prestigious but duty-packed Senate.
While the joyous supporters bathed in ecstasy, the Section President, Prince Ekale Mukete, addressed them stressing that it was a moment for all of them to close ranks more than ever before to assure their unflinching support to the Head of State for the mark of consideration he has shown the Meme people. He read out a motion of support, love and thanks to President Paul Biya which was acclaimed to be forwarded to the Head of State.
Paramount Chief Nfon Mukete Victor is one of the three appointed Senators in the South West Region to join the seven-field-elected for Cameroon's Upper House of Parliament. More to the joy of his people, Nfon Mukete chaired the first session of senate as the most eldest. Meme people rejoiced that they came out of the bargain with two Substantive Senators including Otte Andrew Moffa.
