PGSS Limbe: Students Hurry Home Amid Uncertainty PGSS Limbe: Students Hurry Home Amid Uncertainty

A student tells Cameroon-Info.Net that she heard the men shouting that if some students are not going to school, those in boarding schools must not be indifferent to the school boycott.

Sundays visit caused dread within the student population who ran from one direction to the other to save their lives. Some parents like Shirley Mbide confirmed that her child was on her way home; she said “My daughter is on her way home from PGSS. I can now sleep, even as she has bruises”.

Students woke up Monday with trunks and bags on their heads heading home even before they could be given the permission, no one will want to spend another night in the school.

Some whose parents live in distant areas have simply perched somewhere with their relatives. Parents could also be seen trooping into the campus after Sundays incident.

Other surrounding boarding schools such as Saker Baptist College in Limbe have revealed it will send off their students this Thursday 15 December, 2016.

This phenomenon is not new in Limbe, since teachers went on strike last November; some men of the underworld have been constantly invading campuses that are not respecting the strike action threatening to kill and burn down buildings if the schools were not deserted.
