Stamps now available in the North

After a rupture related to malfunction of a machine last week in Garoua, the Director General of taxes has reassured a return to normal.

The incident which occurred August 18 causing a rupture in the distribution of stamps is now solved. But this day has nevertheless left sequel among a large number of users, including some who wanted to absolutely respect deadlines for deposits of administrative competition files.

During a press briefing Thursday in Garoua, by the Director General of taxes, Modeste Mopa Fatoing, we learn that this interruption was as a result of a problem connecting to the local machines, with the server of Yaoundé.

Indeed, two of the four automated machines in the recipe of the North, failed to connect to the central server throughout August 18, a situation that created long queues in the different points of sale of stamps from the town of Garoua.

Some users, more savvy, rushed for mobile stamps to fill the gap.

Before meeting the local press Thursday, the DG of taxes ensured the Governor of the northern region that everything is already back in order.
