State Inspectors and Audit State Accountants are currently on the bench to learn more on Advanced Performance State Auditing.
This is the focus of a five day seminar organized by the Supreme State Audit with technical assistance from the Canadian foundation for integrated audit
The training session was opened this Monday 27th April 2015 by the Minister Delegate at the Presidency in charge Supreme State Control, Henri Eyebe Ayissi.
Launching the second phase of the programme, Minister Henri Eyebe Ayissi exhorted participants to meticulously use the information to advance state control in all domains.
He noted that the advanced performance audit programme will be applicable in five fields; Swine farming, Public debt, Agriculture, Extended programme on Immunization and the National Support Program for Urban and Rural Youth, Pajer-U.
The Minister Delegate indicated that those attending the seminar will be expected to ensure the control of government expenditure in ministries and also deployed to work with other auditors and state accountants nationwide.
According to one of the co-organisers, the Vice President of the Canadian International Foundation for Integrated Audit, Yves Gauthier, the training is part of a five year partnership between the Ministry of Supreme State Control and his foundation.
The present seminar attended by State Inspectors and Audit State accountants is in its second phase.
The session shall delve on the methodology of advanced performance audit.
The training shall facilitate professional judgment, planning and added value to state expenditures and accounts.
The training workshop that started this Monday 27th April will end on Friday 1st May 2015.
