The school year 2014/2015 approaches, while parents, students and school officials prepare, some teachers still complain of poor working conditions.
Teachers both from the primary schools in Cameroon decry the Cameroonian educational system. They believe that there is urgent need for a questioning of the educational policy of Cameroon.
This aspect has not been clearly defined in Cameroon, as many other axes of priorities that contribute to the development of this country. It sees the self-indulgent way and for less hazardous including the establishment of public and private institutions is done.
Some schools are even created without being subject to a study to determine the interest and without consideration the existing financial resources. But that is not the only reason that justifies the frustration of teachers pushing them to question the Cameroonian educational system.
There is also the question of undue and unwarranted dismissals observed in some schools in Cameroon. This is the case of the french Professor Jean Paul Yongui, abruptly dismissed from his duties at college Gaiety in Yaoundé, on the grounds of "unacceptable remarks" contained in a letter.
