Tsimi Evina fouls before heads of states, accuses secretary

As has been the tradition at major summits in the political capital of Cameroon, the Government delegate to the urban community of Yaoundé, pronounced before the opening of the work, a word of welcome.

Gilbert Tsimi Evouna, the Chief municipal magistrate of the city of Yaounde sacrificed to carry out this exercise at the palais des Congrès, thanks to the extraordinary Summit of Heads of State and Government of ECCAS dedicated to the fight against Boko haram.

It was an appreciable gesture except that the Government delegate forgot to welcome the President of the Republic of Gabon who was still sitting at the forefront of the lodge of the guests.

Indeed, in welcoming the heads of State and delegations present, Gilbert Tsimi Evouna forgot to acknowledge the presence Ali Bongo, President of Gabon.

He relented when a member of the Protocol whispered in his ear that he had committed a serious oversight. Tsimi Evouna however, tried to correct himself. "I forgot to quote his Excellency the president of the Republic of Gabon.

You know, the Secretaries in the last moments, swallow a sentence" was his comment at this point, as he attempted to justify the blunder.

He finally left with a round of applause which was fair play to Ali Bongo who was spotted wearing a smile.
