Candace Nkoth Bisseck has called on CUIB students to turn their visions in to actions. She urged them to be entrepreneurs and not spectators of their lives.
This was during a symposium to the CUIB community themed, “How to gain more clarity and be successful when chasing your dreams,” at the Eoc village on March 4.
Miss Candace in her interactive session mentioned that everything is possible once we belief in ourselves. Recounting her life experiences in this light, she told the students that for them to gain clarity and pursue their dreams successfully, they have to begin by being honest about who they are and knowing what they want.
To achieve this, she said they were to organize their physical environment: pray, exercise, and get rid of negative energies-attitudes, persons, passions so as to gain focus.
Advising them on how to work towards the right path, she coached that outside getting the environment organized, the students have to strategize – layout feasible steps towards the project, link up with two (2) main mentors man and God to take them through the ups and downs. She laid emphasis on the role of God (prayers and meditations).
During the convivial occasion, Roland Kwemain Chairman of Go Ahead Africa and Board of Trustee member reiterated to the students never to listen to those who discourage them from following and achieving their dreams.
The President of CUIB, Fr. George Nkeze, in his final note of thanks to this month’s guest speaker Candace Nkoth Bisseck, Country Manager of Cameroon’s largest online business kaymu, appealed to the students to stand out and brand themselves.
