Two decapitated bodies discovered in Mayo

During a patrol on Sunday, January 24, 2016, soldiers of the multinational force made a gruesome discovery at Maloumri, a town of Mayo-Sava.

They found two dead bodies; totally decapitated in the fields.

The heads had been detached from the bodies. The military believed that both bodies are of truck drivers who had been abducted by Boko Haram. In the last two months, Boko Harams fighters had attacked three trucks Lined on National Highway No. 1.

According to le Jour newspaper, the attackers wanted to take their loot to Nigeria but the two trucks were mired in Wambache.

The sect burned them and left with a rice truck. Despite numerous sweeps, the military had not discovered the remains of the truckers.

They had concluded that the bodies had been removed. The discovery of the bodies in Maloumri might make them change their opinion and mark off research.
