Two diplomats granted audience by External Relations Minister

The Minister of External Relations, Pierre Moukoko Mbonjo has granted two audience; the first to the Senegalese ambassador and later, to the Ivorian ambassador to Cameroon.

Top on the agenda of the first of audience that took place on 14th August 2015 was the presentation of his letters of credence.

Vincet Badji who replaces Aliaine Ndao Fall had a tête à tête with the Minister of External Relations, Pierre Moukoko Mbonjo; an occasion for both personalities to get to know each other. It was also an opportunity for the diplomat to know the geography of his host country.

The second audience was granted to the Ivorian Ambassador to Cameroon, his Excellency Ahounou Manlan Narcisse.

During discussions that lasted for close to 40 minutes, both diplomats explored ways of strengthening friendly ties between the two countries in the domain of defence and agriculture.

Facing the Press after the audience, the Ivorian head of diplomatic mission to Cameroon observed that the long-standing relationship between Cameroon and Cote D’Ivoire is dynamic.

He emphasised on the importance for the two countries to maintain and even reinforce the win-win bilateral cooperation.
