UNDP offers 15 tons of foodstuff to Cameroon army

The National Union for democracy and progress (UNDP) has donated foodstuffs to Cameroonian defense forces engaged at the front against the Islamist sect Boko Haram.

A delegation from the political party of Bello Bouba Maigari, led by Amadou Adji, MP Maroua offered this donation of 15 tonnes of food to the Cameroonian troops.

The donation consisted inter alia of 500 sacks of rice, many boxes of mineral water, nearly 200 cartons of cooking oil and a hundred cartons of sardines was received by the Acting Commander of the fourth region of the army from the Governor of the Region of the far North, Midjiyawa Bakari.

This administrative authority welcomed the citizen's gesture on the part of UNDP.

The party of Bello Bouba Maigari, through this gesture wants to boost the morale of the Cameroonian troops and support the head of the Cameroonian State in the war against Boko Haram.
