University of Bamenda Entrance Exam Launched

The Ministry of Higher Education has launched the competitive entrance examination into year one of the Higher Institute of Commerce and Management of the University of Bamenda for the 2012/13 academic year.

A total of 450 candidates of both sexes, who are holders of the GCE Advanced Level or Baccalaureat, or any other equivalent certificates, in addition to five GCE Ordinary Level subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, will be admitted at the end of the examination.

Admission will be in the Department of Management for 150 places; Accounting and Finance, 150 places; Marketing, 100 places and Insurance and Security, 50 places.

Complete application files should be submitted to the Admissions Office of the Higher Institute of Commerce and Management latest the 14th of September 2012 while the written examination shall take place on September 21, 2012 in the lone centre of the University of Bamenda, Bambili.
