Venezuela to join Cameroon against Boko Haram

The Ambassador of Venezuela to Cameroon Daniel Cartaya Laya Has qualified the Boko Haram sect as a dire enemy to the truth.

He was speaking this Tuesday 23rd August 2016 after an audience granted by the Prime Minister and Head of Government Philemon Yang.

The Diplomat who is resident at Malabo also handed a sealed message from his president Nicolas Maduro to be forwarded to President Paul Biya.

After handing the sealed message the Ambassador extoled the relationship of both his country and Cameroon saying it is excellent and historic. Another aspect in their discussions likely to heighten cooperation ties between both countries was the notorious Boko Haram threats in the Far North Region. To this, he promised his country’s support against the terrorist sect which to him is fund of using finances to justify its unjustifiable activities.

The Ambassador Daniel Cartaya Laya who serves four countries in the Sub-region including Cameroon had earlier presented his letter of accreditation to the Minister of External Relations Lejeune Mbella Mbella.

Venezuela is a South American country with a population of 31 million people. It has the highest petroleum reserve in the world worth 297 billion barrels.
