Senator Nfon V.E. Mukete in his speech thanked the CPDM militants for doing a good job but hoped that the situation be improved in the future.
Probably referring to the 30th September municipal and parliamentary elections, at which the SDF won the three councils and the lone parliamentary seat, Nfon Mukete added that the CPDM was not supposed to be humiliated in own constituency.
Also probably referring to what some persons have said the victory of the SDF was a sanction vote against the Muketes, the Nfon Mukete without mentioning any names said the president is not the party and that it was erroneous to say CPDM militants were teaching the President a lesson.
He likened the situation to soldiers who because of disagreement with their commander allowed the enemy to overrun and defeat them. The celebration ended with a solidarity march from the secretariat to Town Green and back.
