Woman robbed in a VIP bus while asleep

A woman, Flora K. residing in Paris, visited Douala last Friday for a holiday in the country. She went to a travel agency and for more security, she takes a VIP bus to Yaoundé.

Upon entering the vehicle, a young man offered her a place next to him. The communication naturally struck between the two seat neighbours. Along the way, Flora K. told him a brief summary of her life.

A few minutes later, her road companion took out a packet of biscuits from his backpack and offers her. She did not hesitate to serve herself with some and this is his last memory of the trip.

Moreover, when they landed in Yaounde, the latter remains comfortably asleep on her seat. Some passengers tried in vain to wake her.

The Branch Manager was alerted and also tried to wake her, without success.

Unconscious, Flora K. was carried with quickly to the central hospital.

With medical assistance, she regained consciousness only to realise that her passport as well as 5.000 Euros (3.250.000 FCFA) had been stolen.
