Yaounde IV fêtes dividends

The Cameroon People’s Democratic Party’s supporters and well-wishers of the Yaounde IV Sub-division in Mfoundi Division of the Centre Region, have expressed thanks to President Paul Biya for his achievements in their area in 32 years of rule.

The Mayor of Yaounde IV, Régine Amougou Noma, joined supporters in dance with peace plants yesterday November 6, 2014, to support their party Chairman, Head of State Paul Biya in his drive to combat insecurity, safeguard national sovereignty, preserve peace and consolidate national unity.

Like in other localities of the city, the Yaounde IV Council area is faced with development challenges, but dividends of 32 years of reign supersede all. Supporters of the area therefore celebrated development strides ranging from the provision of potable water, access to health facilities, electricity and roads. The road however remains long and as Oliver Twist, the council area and its residents still beg for more.

The Coordinator of activities marking the anniversary who also doubles as the CPDM Section President of the Yaounde, Evini Avang, challenged party supports to remain vigilant, on permanent alert and to support the Armed Forces in fighting insecurity.

This year’s theme, he said, was timely. Coming at a time the country was faced with insecurity challenges orchestrated by the Nigerian Boko Haram sect. Evini Avang joined the President of the Women’s Wing of the party, WCPDM, Hon. Ottou née Ntsama Belinga Jeanne, to stand up to Cameroon’s national unity, peace-loving virtues and most especially the consolidation of peaceful cohesion.

Amidst shouts of joy, hugs, dance and merry-making, supporters joined elite of the Yaounde IV Sub-division to reaffirm their commitment to the values and achievements of the CPDM.
