That appears to have been the message from Sixers center Joel Embiid to Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James on Monday night, a message he sent via Twitter after his team's 95-92 win over James' team.
Both James and Embiid not playing did not stop the rookie center from firing off this tweet:
I told him to sign with us back in the summer and he didn't smh
— Joel-Hans Embiid (@JoelEmbiid) January 6, 2015
Embiid made a very public effort to convince James to join the Sixers this past summer, tweeting to James a number of times with no luck. James, of course, ended up signing with his home town Cavaliers.
With the Cavaliers dealing with a barrage of injuries, and not exactly rocking the NBA with a 19-16 record, maybe Embiid was right.
(Probably not).
