A national tender notice has just been launched by the Ministry of public works for "work on the tarring of superficial coating in the West network”.
Three sections of road, divided in two regions, are affected by these works listed in the annual 2014 programme for emergency procedure and financed by the budget of public investment. These include sections like; Songbengue-Ngambe (12 km) and Bomono-Dibombari (9 km) in the Littoral, Tudig Jonction-Acha Hospital (6,5 km), in the Northwest region. The projected cost of the work, meanwhile, is estimated at 2.7 billion. On the technical and practical details, works will integrate a wide pavement of about 6 to 7 meters.
Their bids will be open August 28. A slightly more utilitarian analysis of this development of rural roads program suggests great prospects for the concerned localities. The pathways that will be upgraded are, in fact, healthy outlets for their agricultural production and for easier circulation of their populations to urban centres.
