A delegation of 35 Tunisian businessmen is on a visit to Cameroon where they will review and enhancement of the investment opportunities in the country’s various sectors including food processing, construction, higher education, manufacturing, telecommunications and textiles, APA learns Tuesday in Douala.

The presence of the Tunisian investors comes on the heels of the “Tunisian Multi-sector Trade Days in Cameroon” held a few weeks ago in Douala, the Tunisian ambassador to Cameroon, Jalel Snoussi, said.

The ultimate goal of this meeting “is to establish contact to put in place something concrete,” he said, recalling that the meetings are under the theme; “synergy, partnership, complementarity and prospecting.”

The Tunisian economic operators’ consultant Chafik El Behi declared part of this business adventure in Cameroon aims “to provide technology and prospect to companies wishing to develop their activities and possibly outsource in the country.”

The Cameroonian Trade minister, Luc Magloire Atangana Mbarga, lauded “this wonderful initiative that comes after many joint meetings between the two countries, an evidence of dynamic partnership.”

The Cameroonian authorities have reassured the Tunisian delegation of enabling conditions in terms of administration and legislation.
