400,000 employees already placed by FNE

By signing a memorandum of understanding on September 18, 2014 with Gulf Steel Industries in Yaounde, Director General of the National Employment Fund (FNE) Camille MOUTHE to Bidias, announced that his institution has placed nearly 400 000 workers to 6,000 companies with which this public employment operator is in partnership.

In addition to its entrepreneurship promotion programs and jobs creation in both rural and urban areas, and even among Cameroonian Diaspora who would settle for investments in the country, the FNE has a large database of job seekers and their qualifications.

It is because of this that in the context of its employment intermediation prerogatives issues, the FNE usually makes this database available to companies under agreement, which enable companies to conduct recruitment according to desired profiles.

From this point of view, companies such as C & K Mining, which operates gold in the Eastern Region and holder of the operating license for the diamond deposit in Mobilong, or Justin Sugar Mills, an Indo-Cameroonian joint venture which is setting up a sugar factory in the eastern region, have already benefited from the technical support of the FNE.
