The New Generation program, set up by the Conseil Interprofessionnel du Cacao et du Café (CICC - Cocoa and Coffee Board) in order to facilitate the rejuvenation of the farms and lower the average age of cocoa and coffee producers, has just become the recipient of Arysta Lifescience Cameroun's generosity.

This company specialised in the supply of inputs, phytosanitary products and agriculture equipment, has just donated 200,000 pouches to the New Generation program to set up plant nurseries.

According to CICC, this cargo of pouches is only an "instalment" out of the million pouches promised by the company, as an encouragement to the creation of plant nurseries by the youth in the New Generation program.

As a reminder, this program was established on June 7, 2012. To date, New Generation which supervises 1,042 young people, including 739 cocoa farmers and 118 coffee farmers, has already enabled the creation of 1,395 hectares of new cocoa and coffee farms.
