Cameroon launches tender for internet connection research

The Minister of posts and Telecommunications (Minpostel), Jean Pierre Biyiti Bi Essam, launched an international notice for expression of interest.

It concerns the conducting of a study for the realization of a technical and detailed study to determine the real needs of Government regarding internet connection.

This study will also determine the needs of public administrations in terms of pooling of infrastructure, data transmission, setting up a platform for the exchange of information between administrations and billing of consumption of means of telecommunications of public services.

Clearly, this action of the Minpostel has as its ultimate goal the control of consumption in public administration. Benefits will be carried out in the central services of the Government of Cameroon.
